Back by popular demand, we are reviving an old SCT summer tradition... a doubles social tournament at Diversey clay courts! But Chardonnay is so passé, so now it’s all about the Rosé All Day Tournament! Not only is there a new name, there is a new format too:
- Tournament will be one day only, Sat July 13th. starting at 1pm. Finals will be at the end of round robin play at approximately 7pm, possibly earlier if time allows
- The cost will be $35 per individual or $70 per team
- 20 teams total: 5 teams within 4 groupings (Open, A, B, and C)
- Round robin format
- We will allow individual sign up if people don’t have a partner and will help partner you with someone in the same group
- Matches will be first to 6 games with tiebreaker at 5 all, with a time limit of 30 minutes per match
- Second deuce no-ad scoring
- Top two teams with the most sets won in the round robin qualify for finals, with a tiebreaker being games won/lost
- Finals will be an 8 game pro set
- Join in on the fun and wear some rosé/pink themed outfits!
- Food and snacks provided throughout the day
- After tournament social, location TBD
